My Vision for Okotoks
Choosing the best candidate is about choosing someone who shares a similar perspective on the things that matter most to you. Through your elected representative, your voice should be heard.
I'm running for Okotoks Town Council because I believe we can embrace and manage growth without losing the unique character and spirit of our community. As a long-time resident, I'm committed to being a thoughtful and reasonable voice that protects the 'vibe' we love.
I believe in an Okotoks where everyone belongs. Whether you’re a long-time resident, a newcomer, a young adult, a new family, or a senior — there is a place for you here.
I believe in inclusion and affordability and services that contribute to our enjoyment of life.
I also have a measured and conservative approach to spending. No one wants to pay higher taxes year over year and so the focus should be thoughtful planning and spending to address priorities— just as you would for your household or business.
The Town needs to manage growth thoughtfully so that we can maintain quality of life and protect the things that make this such a special place to live. I'm running to ensure we have a balanced approach that takes the concerns of today’s citizens into account but also serves the municipality’s long-term interests.
Did you know Elections Alberta now requires municipal voters to be registered?
Are you registered to vote?
Share your thoughts, hopes, and concerns for Okotoks.
If elected, I’d be representing your voice at the council table. To do that effectively, I need to hear from you. Tell me what you’re looking for in a councillor to best represent you. I’ll do my best to respond to every message in a timely manner.
Order a Lawn Sign
To show your support publicly, please reserve a lawn sign and I, or a campaign volunteer, will install one at your home after September 8 and remove it within a few days of the election on October 20.
If you’re able to make a campaign contribution of $10 below to help me run a fiscally responsible campaign and cover the cost of the sign, it would really help. But if you can’t, that’s okay too. We’d still like you to have a lawn sign.
Thanks in advance for your support!
If you’d be willing to send a few dollars to help support my campaign promotion, I’d be grateful.
Any surplus amounts not used in the campaign will be donated to an Okotoks-based non-profit.
